Non-Profit Organizations

Operating since 2018, H.O.P.E. Mission Inc is a non-profit 501(c) (3) referral-based center that provides free access to information and community resources to underserved populations across Miami-Dade County, primarily the Northwest Dade Area. Some of the services H.O.P.E. provides help with Medicaid/Medicare applications, SNAP (food stamps) applications through our Access Center, workforce development, employment referral, citizenship applications, housing applications, rental assistance applications, and nutritional programming among others.

H.O.P.E continues to focus on providing support to community members in need. Last year we all faced unprecedented challenges and, in an effort, to alleviate the burden of many families in Northwest Dade at the beginning of March 2020, H.O.P.E. held weekly food distributions and Personal Protection Equipment drives. At San Lazaro Catholic Church alone we worked with the help of selfless volunteers and provided 1,000 to 1,500 meals to the community on weekly basis. In addition to these events, H.O.P.E. has co-hosted distributions held at Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic Church and First Baptist Church of Hialeah. Our organization also provided support to Rev. A.D. Lenoir with West View Baptiste Church in Miami FL, and to Steps in the Right Direction in Miami Lakes, FL for a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive. A Thanksgiving Turkey Drive and PPE drive were also conducted and held at Unbranded Brewing Co., in Hialeah, FL to provide food for families during the holiday season and help keep our community safe.

H.O.P.E. established the First non-State run Covid-19 Testing Site in Miami Dade County at Amelia Earhart Park. Additionally, H.O.P.E. partnered with the Department of Health to provide a Pop-up Vaccination Center at San Lazaro Catholic Church to our elderly community. H.O.P.E. strives to expand its programs and offerings to the community.
