Belinda Caballero currently serves as President and CEO of BC Medical Billing, a small business located in east Hollywood, Florida. Having two decades of experience in the medical industry and more than eleven years in billing and coding. She began her career as a Cardiology and Radiology Technician in 1998 and became practice administrator for a cardiology office in 2006. She currently oversees a full-time staff, working hard every day to deliver quality results and savings in recovered revenue. Her knowledge in operations improvement, revenue cycle management, employee training and retention, reimbursements, billing and coding sectors and insurance contracting and negotiations allows her to accomplish significant achievements for the company’s clients.

Belinda Caballero served as the Practice Administrator, overseeing the overall operation of a renown cardiology practice, working alongside three physicians and two nurse practitioners. She was responsible for a multimillion dollar operating budget, annual billing in the millions and a professional administrative staff which is comprised of nurses, medical billers, receptionists, clerks and medical assistants. Her professional skills deliver efficient customer service to clients and deliver results in this growing healthcare industry.

She has a deep professional knowledge in human resources management through evaluating candidates and hiring personnel. She has consistently contributed to an office environment which flourishes in coworker relationships, achievements of company goals and customer satisfaction. She has also developed a perfection in financial management as she leads a team of dynamic professionals which maximize billing outcomes/copay collections using forward-looking procedures and requiring a level of excellence of staff.

Just prior in 1998, Belinda was a cardiovascular technician and x-ray technician at the University Heart Institute. Here, she gained her professional understanding and efficiently processed, monitored and developed images for diagnosis. She worked with patients during procedures and expertly operated equipment, organized examination rooms and performed front and back office clerical duties. Her care for patients resulted in the best procedures and treatment for each.

Belinda has excelled in academics as well – she graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University, her Bachelors of Arts from Thomas Edison State College and an Associate’s Degree from Everest Institute. In a demonstration to quality and excellence in her profession, she holds many certifications, including: Certified Professional Coder, Florida Licensed Radiology Technologist and Registered Medical Assistant.

Vivian joined BC Medical Billing in 2021. She has over 18 years of vast experience in billing and management. She has worked in pharmaceutical, nursing homes, and many other varieties of medical specialty practices. Vivian currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Sales of BC Billing. She began her career in pharmaceuticals working for a company called Omnicare. There she spearheaded the billing team in accurately and timely billing for all SNF and ALF homes. She was with them for seven-year.

Later, she was offered to take the role of Office Manager at Lake View Care Center Nursing Home since she had managed the account while working at Omnicare and had built a close relationship with the Regional Director for the SNF homes and their staff. She was responsible for Medicare/Medicaid Billing, managed four staff members, entered ancillary charges, bank reconciliations, and much more.

Vivian also served as a Practice Consultant for Medusind and CareCloud which are both revenue cycle management companies for physician practices. She managed top accounts and overseeing different types of specialties in ensuring that the physicians increased revenue, improved cash flow, and reduced overhead. She was a liaison between the revenue cycle management and physician’s practice, where she was responsible to review denial trends, underpayment, and account receivable analysis. She also was very involved in ensuring that the physicians assigned to her met all MIPS requirements and/or changes with the CMS.

Vivian has a bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting through the University of Phoenix and is a licensed notary for the state of Florida.

Maria joined BC Medical Billing in 2015. Maria has more than 30 years’ experience in office management and bookkeeping. Maria is responsible for the day to day activity of the company as well as performing medical billing and coding, collection, assessment and identification of information from provider claims and encounters and review of medical records to identify appropriate codes to utilize based on up to date procedural and diagnostic categories.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Supervision and Management as well as a Certification through the American Academy of professional Coders as a Certified Professional Coder.

Massiel started with BC Medical Billing as an intern in 2017. Through hard work and dedication Massiel proved to be an asset. Her medical billing duties include coding, billing, collection and assessment and identification of information from provider claims and encounters based on up to date procedural and diagnostic categories, as it pertains to medical coding per CMS guidelines.

Massiel was promoted to Lead Supervisor in 2021. Her ability to handle situations with ease and understanding made her a natural fit for this role. She is not only helpful, confident and skilled, she is kind and patient. Everyone enjoys working with her.

Massiel is a graduate of CBT College and is certified as a Billing and Coding Specialist through National HealthCareer Association.

Ana has been with BC Medical Billing since 2017. Ana has a background in healthcare statistics and accounting. Ana is responsible for performing medical billing and coding duties which include reviewing medical records, collection, assessment and identification of information from provider claims and encounters to identify appropriate codes to utilize based on up to date procedural and diagnostic categories, as it pertains to medical coding per CMS guidelines.

Ana is certified as a professional coder through the American Academy of professional Coders.
