BC Medical Billing (“BC Medical Billing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides revenue cycle management, medical billing, accounts receivable recovery, and provider credentialing services to healthcare practices. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at bcbilling.com, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
This policy covers information collected through our website. It does not govern protected health information (PHI) that we process on behalf of client practices under a Business Associate Agreement. That information is handled according to HIPAA and the terms of the applicable agreement, described further below.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a contact form, request a free A/R audit, download a resource, or otherwise reach out to us, we may collect your name, practice or organization name, email address, telephone number, specialty, the services you are interested in, and any other information you choose to include in your message.
Information collected through our onboarding and credentialing intake. Practices that engage our credentialing services submit provider and practice information through a secure intake portal. This may include provider names, National Provider Identifiers, license and DEA numbers, board certifications, malpractice coverage details, practice tax identification numbers, and supporting documents. This information is collected for the purpose of completing payer enrollment and credentialing applications on the practice’s behalf.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics and advertising providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent on those pages, and similar technical information.
Please Do Not Send Patient Information Through This Website
Our public website forms are not intended for, and should not be used to transmit, patient-identifying information or protected health information. If you need to send us patient data in the course of an existing engagement, please use the secure channels established under your service agreement. Do not include patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, claim details, or similar information in a website inquiry.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our pages, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

HIPAA and Protected Health Information
When BC Medical Billing performs billing, coding, accounts receivable, or related services for a healthcare practice, we act as a Business Associate as that term is defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. In that capacity we maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards for protected health information and use and disclose PHI only as permitted by the applicable Business Associate Agreement and by law. Individuals seeking to exercise rights with respect to their own health information should contact the healthcare provider that maintains their records.
Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal and contractual obligations. Credentialing and billing records are retained in accordance with applicable payer, state, and federal requirements and the terms of our client agreements.
Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. Some information may be subject to retention requirements that limit our ability to delete it. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages; we may still send you communications related to an active engagement.
Depending on where you reside, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under Florida and other state law.
Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are directed to healthcare practices and businesses, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this website.
